‘Let’s Talk About…’ is a magazine and campaign that addresses topics such as sexual assault, sexism, feminism, in a manner which shines an approachable light on this dark space. This quirky and educational magazine is aimed to sit alongside the ‘Consent Matters’ campaign at UTS in 2018. Which aims to draw attention to a shared understanding of consent and a greater knowledge of unacceptable behaviour. ‘Let’s Talk About…’ includes excerpts from ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’, ‘We Should All be Feminists’, ‘Men Explain Things to Me’ and ‘Change The Course: National Report on Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment at Australian Universities (2017)’. It invites readers to take notes, comment on the magazine and share it with friends and family.
Issue 01 of Apex explores the fluidity and contrasts of type. The cover visually depicts this comparison through varying typographic styling. The type has been utilised alongside imagery to metaphorically translate the articles. Risograph printing as a technique carried the appropriate look and feel for the issue.

This multi-media work explores the way society has been moulded and gentrified to demand more the environment and peers. The programming of the human psyche to seek new and strive for modernity, has resulted in the accumulation of waste and the normalisation of “upgrading”. Japanese culture exemplified this rapid progression through materiality and the expectance of the new. The use of receipts emphasises the point of mindless consumerism, expressed through ephemeral data such as train tickets. The covering of the eyes exemplifies the disregard towards consumption and the normalisation of expressing ones lacklustre through the wallet. The range of individuals showcased as well as the varying levels of collage correlate directly with the users environment as documented on my journey through Japan.
The NSWHCIS began as an informal service catering to the needs of a growing multicultural Australia. In 1977 it was established as an organisation that pioneered language interpretation in the health sector. Health care interpretation is often a thankless job that requires sensitivity and tenacity. It is a largely invisible service and this publication aims to highlight the service's first forty years of achievement. The publication was launched at the celebration of service's 40th Anniversary in November 2017
Bondi Beach. The pool, the sand and foliage that come together to create a capsuled experience of a place that insinuates specific emotions and connotations in my life.
